According to their MySpace, the genre is considered
rock/powerpop/punk. some may refer to them as "emo" (although i don't like that word anymore. please
don't make emo a genre on your website). they're one of my favorite bands and i've seen them more times than
i can count on my fingers. I saw them in October, 2007, at the Rock n Roll Hotel in D.C. they played acoustic,
so it was only 2 members of the band. after the show, Chris Conley (the lead singer and songwriter) said he'd be
upstairs at the bar afterwards. so we waited and he ended up sitting down a few barstools down from me. i was
so nervous i barely said one word. my friend vince did most of the talking. i ended up saying "i love you
so much" which was just embarrassing looking back on it. but regardless, he was very humble, very polite, and just
a really cool, down to earth guy. sp
