Anita Baker performing live at the Merriweather Post Pavillion, Columbia, Maryland, June, 2007.  This picture was taken from my 5th row center seats.  It was my first time ever seeing her live!  Loved this woman ever since her first Album.
Stood in my living room watching her up for her first Grammy jumping up and down screaming for her to win... and she did!!  Julia.

Patti LaBelle at Chene Park - Detroit, Michigan
Here are four great pictures of Ms. Patti LaBelle as she belted out song after song at Chene Park, a 6000 seat amphitheater in Detroit, Michigan, that sits on the shore of the Detroit River.  Many famous artists have played this venue each summer, and Patti LaBelle is no exception.  She has returned numerous times to entertain her devoted fans...and make new ones along the way.  We can see why.  She's smokin' hot!!!
Originally from West Philly, Pennsylvania (USA), Ms. LaBelle is a popular Rhythm & Blues and Soul singer.  From her musical beginnings as a young teenager singing in The Ordettes in the late 1950's and early '60's, to The Blue Belles, then Patti LaBelle and The Blue Belles in the late 60's, to her days leading the silver spacesuit wearing trio known simply as LaBelle in the early to mid 1970's, she has wowed audiences with her powerful voice and magnificent stage presence.  In 1975 LaBelle scored their biggest hit with the million selling Pop and R&B 45 rpm "Lady Marmalade," which made it to the # 1 spot on the Hot 100 chart.
Patti LaBelle began her solo career in 1976 and hasn't stopped since.  "La" in the French language translates to English as "the," and "Belle" to "beautiful or lovely."
Um hummmm, that she is.

Photographs submitted by De and were taken by Carl Adams, circa 1997.  Thanks men!
